2025 has been a year in which Obsima AB has taken major steps forward. Here I would like to highlight some of this year’s milestones, where together with our customers and partners we have made a real difference.
New name, new premises, new energy
On 1 January 2025, we changed our name to Obsima AB, a change that reflects our growing role within defence and industry, as well as our deepened partnership with Norwegian Obsima Technology AS.
We also moved into new premises in Skåne, in southern Sweden. That said, we have spent much of our time out with customers. We like being on the move, so that suits us perfectly.
Growth in revenue and competence
We have increased our turnover. But more importantly, we have invested in competence development that truly benefits our customers.
Our team has, among other things, received training at Silvus Technologies in the USA, carried out practical exercises together with Marathon Targets, and deepened its knowledge of Haivision products in cooperation with our Norwegian colleagues at Obsima Technology. All of this so that we can provide better support and more reliable deliveries to our customers.
Partnerships
In cooperation with the Swedish Armed Forces and FMGSS, we have developed and delivered the M/25 security container for weapons and ammunition storage. This is a concrete example of how we work closely with our customers from idea to operational use.
On the civil side, we have initiated a collaboration with Matthew Bruhn and Geofix. This has opened up new opportunities for more industrial actors to benefit from our proven solutions.
Within our corporate group, we have also strengthened our internal ties to offer even better support, no matter where you are in your process.
During the year, we have welcomed new partners such as FMGSS, Marathon Targets and KrattWorks, all valuable additions to our portfolio that directly benefit our customers. And more is coming. We are looking forward to presenting to you additional exciting cooperations during 2026.
Visibility
We have participated in several trade shows during the year. We were also present in Almedalen – Sweden’s leading annual forum for politics and societal development – during a live defence demonstration, where we deployed protected objects in the form of inflatable decoys from i2k. A very exciting project.
In addition, we became a member of SOFF (the Swedish Security and Defence Industry Association).
Projects with purpose
One of the most important assignments this year has been our participation in MSB’s procurement within the EU Civil Protection Mechanism. Together with our partner Continest, we are delivering mobile emergency housing to strengthen crisis preparedness in Europe.
Looking ahead
In the coming year, we will strengthen our sales organisation to meet the growing demand. We have several projects in the pipeline and, even though we cannot reveal everything yet, I can promise that 2026 will be at least as exciting as 2025.
Finally, I would like to extend a big thank you to all our partners, both new and long-standing. Your support and collaboration are a vital part of what we are building for the future.
Jonas Jonasson
CEO, Obsima AB
